2009 schedule

Michigan State 9-4
Dixie State 4-7
North. Col. 1-10
Weber 10-4
NAU 6-5
South Dakota 6-5
EWU 6-5
ISU 1-11
PSU 4-7
Sac. St. 6-6
UM 14-2

67-66

It's still not very good but I'm just wondering were my math is wrong or is it just my education :D
Using your numbers your addition is fine. 67-66 would move MSU up from #79 to #36. :?

Didn't you guys schedule UM-Western (NAIA) and Dixie St (D2) last year? Granted you had Utah and Hawaii, but you guys finished with 7 wins that counted towards the playoffs. Your schedule this year looks much more challenging.

Life sucks at the bottom of the CAA South.

No other word for it. The last two year have sucked.

Stats and rankings are good and all but the real thing that matters is who comes off that field with the W at the end. Hence why i hate the BcS so much.

I'll take your six pack and you don't even have to apologize for the weak Big Sky. They could win all their OOC games.... Why do you keep sticking up for the rest of your conference?

Big Sky vs DI last year in the regular season...
EWU 0-2
UNC 0-3
PSU 0-2
MSU 0-2
WSU 0-2
ISU 0-3
NAU 1-1
SSU 1-1

Thank God for Southern Utah! All their OOC games. You should start with "some".

I think we scheduled UMW and DSU to compensate for the two games against former BCS busters, but the year before we played Cal Poly and Boise St, both on the road, played home to Ft.Lewis, but so did Montana, and the year before that we played at Colorado State and home to Cal Poly and home to SUU.

But at least Weber State is willing to play up unlike a certain other team that will remain nameless but everyone knows.

IF one can play at home and make just as much money, maybe more, why subject your team to injuries and travel time away from studies?

If that's the case and that's the reasons for playing down, then I guess there really is no reason to move up to the WAC.

Why would anyone want to leave the FCS? Really?

How the F does scheduling down to counter scheduling a FBS team work? BTW the last two teams we played when we played up were actual BCS schools not BCS busters. Teams like Wyoming and Utah State, and BYU can't afford us. They shop around for a discount school to fill in their schedules. Since you seem to be too thick to understand some of the concepts that have been put forth to you many, many times I'll give it to you one more time. We will make as much or more in the D2 game this year as you guys will on your best payday game that you have to travel to. We play down a level once a year like almost all others at our level do. Any of this sinking in yet?

Ummmm...yeah I have been, and am on Egriz regularly. I don't post much. They have been doing a much better job of the move up threads. Now they try and dump them all into one thread.

I keep coming back to give him a chance because I'm hoping at some point that he will make logical arguments instead of the envy based bullshit. I think after last years discussions during the play offs he may have picked up on a few things so I hold out hope for his education abilities until further notice.

Kemajic is one of the posters on egriz who think the Grizzlies can compete in the WAC, and if Im not mistaken he posts on this forum, it has nothing to do with envy, I dont envy UM football success, just like Im sure you dont envy Weber's basketball success. I never said I hated Montana because I dont, Im just tired of hearing the same old broken record Grizzly fans shoving the big Stadium big fanbase crap in everyone's faces. I went to last years TCU-Utah football game in front of close to 50,000 fans all dressed in black and louder than anything I have ever heard. I have never been to a game in WGS, but I know for a FACT that a 25,000 seat WGS DOES NOT get as loud as a 50,000 seat Rice Eccles Stadium, or a 65,000 seat Lavell Edwards Stadium.

Thats it, I dont hate Montana, I really dont hate anyone in the Big Sky, whatever and whoever (preferably Weber) makes the Conference look good thats all that matters, bringing recognition to this Conference. I dont know how many times I have to say that.

This lies in conflict with much of what you post believe it or not. The fanbase and stadium are being used here and pretty much everywhere else on HERE as reasons to combat arguments against why UM doesn't have to go try to prove their mettle against mostly mid level FBS teams and it is used as a valid argument. It's pushed in your face when you level some bullshit about your schools bravery in playing the FBS teams. It has nothing to do with that. It has only to do with the fact that you guys need the money in those games. You don't wanna hear it then STFU about the bravery involved in playing WAC or Sun Belt type teams. Fair enough?

FWIW you know absolutely NOTHING FOR A FACT about the noise levels at said stadiums. ESPN brought the "noise meter" to UM in 2004 to test the decibels during the UNH game and it was above the threshhold of pain. When you have ACTUAL FACTS then I will concede that point. Until that time you'll have to forgive me if I don't just go on what you think to be true. Just as another for instance...

"Former Griz running back Justin Green, now playing for the Baltimore Ravens, said, “I still haven’t been to a stadium as loud as Washington-Grizzly and we play (for) three or four times more people.” And in a state that has no professional sports, Griz football games are about as close as you will find to that level of competition and excitement. " This is from an article in the Kaimen

Tony Romo was asked about the level of sound and if it had affected his play in Seattle and replied that it was loud but not as loud as he had experienced in the play offs at WGS.

I'm not telling you what I know for a fact I'm telling you what others have said over and over and over after playing here. But if you feel like it why don't you keep telling us what you know for a FACT there slick.
