Unbelievable exposure with a Sportscenter and College Football Live being aired Fri in addition to Gameday Sat morning..

"Six semi-trucks, a couple smaller trucks and a couple buses will arrive on campus on Wednesday. Setup begins Thursday, and by Friday morning, a live "SportsCenter" will be broadcast from campus. "College Football Live" will also be aired at 2 p.m. from the set."

On July 25, 2012, CAA Football held its annual media day and Old Dominion coach Bobby Wilder was asked about James Madison increasing Bridgeforth Stadium's capacity from 15,000 to 25,000 along with additions of 16 suites and a 1,000-seat club level.

“You don’t think that a school like JMU makes a move like they did with their stadium to stay where they are,” Wilder said.

He referred to FCS, the Dukes’ current level of competition, and FBS, the top tier of college football. The $62-million stadium upgrade, completed in 2011, and the adjacent Plecker Athletic Performance Center, a $10-million facility that supports football and opened in 2005, suggested that Madison may be positioning itself for FBS affiliation...".(continues)..
