Can't. I have a bachelor party to go to at 7.wideright82 wrote:danefan wrote: You driving in?

A bachelor party, NICE!. Thanks for the info, I haven't been to the new address yet, so that will come in handy. The old place I had down pat, until the construction, then I was like a retarded mouse in a maze with no cheese.danefan wrote:Can't. I have a bachelor party to go to at 7.wideright82 wrote:

I can't remember if you went to the new stadium yet or not, but if not check out http://baseball-parking.com/.
You can guarantee yourself a spot in the Rupert Plaza garage (the new one that is where Babe Ruth field used to be). Harlem River Drive to 155th St. Exit. Left onto 155th St and over the Macombs Dam Bridge (over the Deegan) and the garage is right there on the right. So easy and you don't have to deal with the traffic on the Deegan.
When you leave go back over the Macoombs Dam bridge, up 155th and a right to go back up Harlem River Drive. Easily 30-45 minutes shorter to the GW than taking the Deegan. I've done it two Saturdays now.
The other thing I found out was that your better off having a beer after the game and waiting for the garage to unload.
The maps online haven't been updated to get directions to Rupert Plaza. Even the one that baseball-parking.com gives you isn't good. I figured this out the last game and I was into the garage from my house in Maywood (Hackensack) in under 15 minutes.

Matsui needs to sit down and maybe once Posada and Nady come back Matsui will go on the DL. If you can't run the bases and you don't hit home runs consistently then you should probably sit down, especially on the road. Matsui could DH at home and drop flyballs into the stands in RF. But he's not effective in many other parks right now.Willie wrote:Posada will resume regular duties, that's a given. Cervelli stays, Cash is out. Nady, well that's a tough one. He's a decent fielder and pretty good hitter so they could use him, but where? Matsui was really beginning to piss me off before his 2 HR's last night since his knees are so fucked he can hardly run the bases for a homer. Ransom will go away and probably end up being traded. They need Gardner's speed. MAYBE, since Gardner is struggling at the plate a little, they'll move him to the bench as a pinch hitter/runner and put Nady in either left or center and just flip flop him with Damon.
It'll be interesting to see what Girardi does, though I sense a royal fuck up on the way.
