With season-tickets sales for football apparently through the roof, Old Dominion is exploring the idea of temporarily expanding Foreman Field for the upcoming season.
Architect Don Loudermilk, who helped with the design of the Arthur Ashe Stadium at the U.S. Open in New York and Ford Field in Detroit, has been retained to advise in the process.
Loudermilk also was instrumental in the design of ODU’s Ted Constant Convocation Center and worked on the front-end planning of the ongoing $24.8 million Foreman Field renovation,
Meanwhile, ODU officials have asked Southern Bleachers to analyze the feasibility of adding bleacher seating before ODU’s fledgling football team opens the season Sept. 5 against Chowan.
Foreman Field is presently expected to hold 19,782 for football.

Wow, that program and fan base are not playing around.

They are going to be a helluva program. They have a fairly large metropolitan area behind them too.
As a Delaware fan, I'm selfishly hoping they steal recruits from W&M, Richmond, and JMU too. We get some good players from the Tidewater area as well, but not nearly as many as those three.
