You have nothing to fear. NAU are almost as depressingly underachieving, scared and choke prone as UNI.Grizalltheway wrote:Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

It'll be a goddamned miracle if the Griz win a game by 20 this year.D1B wrote:You have nothing to fear. NAU are almost as depressingly underachieving, scared and choke prone as UNI.Grizalltheway wrote:Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Montana insourced their defense from another conference.clenz wrote:I've seen Big Sky defenses....is NAU that bad?Grizalltheway wrote:Griz lead 16-0 at halftime. 19 total yards for NAU.
Griz win 23-14. Would've been 23-7 if not for an awful PI call (should've been OPI) on NAU's first touchdown catch. I think the ref was literally the only guy in the stadium that thought the TD was going to stand—NAU's bench didn't even celebrate when the guy caught it.

For the first half the Griz D was all over them.clenz wrote:I've seen Big Sky defenses....is NAU that bad?Grizalltheway wrote:Griz lead 16-0 at halftime. 19 total yards for NAU.
I think for the whole game we had 8 sacks. It also didn't help that the NAU center was incapable of snapping it more than an inch off the ground.
