No it wasn't. The ball wasn't moving until he started switching it to the other hand, which didn't happen until he had taken 3 steps which constitutes a football move.

Tuned into audio on the drive MSU scored to get from 17 down to 11...then Ash goes for 2 to turn a 2 possession game into...wait for it...a 2 possession game. MSU misses, down 11, get a fumble. Drive down the field with no resistance to get a TD, then because of his brilliant decision to go for 2 previously, HAS to go for 2 again...and they miss again. Then MSU is FORCED to onside down 5 instead of kicking deep and hoping for a stop down 3. That mind boggling decision to go for 2 when down 11 made for an interesting finish to the game.

Indeed. But that first drive you listened to wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the refs overturning an obvious fumble by their WR.

Regardless, the state of Montana seems to be in the entertaining hands of Shit and Ass... errr Stitt and Ash.

Yeah I wasn't tuned in for that. Wouldn't have mattered. I had to listen to the MSU homer announcers. I'm sure it wouldn't have been an MSU fumble the whole way. My favorite comment during the EWU fumble review was, "If this isn't overturned, just cancel review altogether!!!"

BTW, it was ruled as forward progress stopped, is a fumble on that even reviewable?
