I'm sorry, but watching Cuntucky get call after call after call when bowling through the lane against Wisconsin just personified everything that is wrong with athletics. There had to be 15 times where a charge should have been called and wasn't...it got to the point where it was almost comical. Felt REALLY sorry for the Wisconsin guys...they played very sound, fundamental basketball and got fucked by the refs.

What if a white coach wins? Can you name all the white winners or are only black people important to you?

Can you name the team this year with the most white players on it? How about the last team to win it with a majority of white players? Any teams with Asians, or an Asian coach/assistant coach? How about the white versus black cheerleader ratios?

Can you name the last championship team to not have one of their black players arrested? How about naming a championship team that graduated all of their black players...or had a white player who failed out?

These stats are an important part of our history.

I watched 10 minutes of the game to see if I could care about either team. Wisconsin was winning, but Kentucky's players were repeatedly plowing through defenders and not getting called for a charge. I love good defense...and turned off the game because it was a travesty of basketball.

I hope UConn wins...Ollie is a good story and those KY players should have been watching at home, but I won't be watching the game tonight.

I found Nova has only made it to the second weekend 5 times since I was born in 1988 (09 - FF, 08 S16, 06, EE, 05 EE) and are just 20-16 since their national title...

UCONN is 50-14 over that same time span of my life.

Nova basketball isn't a huge power to anyone under 30ish. They are a program that was great in the 70s and early 80s and has since become a good program that seems to put together a decent run ever couple years.

The programs "my generation" recognize as HUGE powers are
Duke
UNC- and falling
UCONN
Florida
Kentucky
Kansas

Then there is a drop into a category of "Yeah, they're always good but never a *real* NC threat.

I'd ignore me too if I was completely schooled time after time after time after time about a program I call myself a fan of

Actually chime to think of it the posters who got offended by me saying Georgetown isn't a national name like it used to be, which is true, were trying to convince me that Georgetown football (along with Holy Cross, Lehigh, Lafayette,etc...) were huge national draws as well.


I think you guys out east need to look at a map and see what national actually means
