MSU has great defense.
MSU has great defense.
It actually is the worst in the history of football....but it got everyone to read this.
Prukop is a beast out there. He has more rushing TDs than UM has as a team. He has amassed 1300 yards in total offense IN THE LAST TWO GAMES...Now I know what you are all going to say " Sure, but has he played any good defenses yet?". And the answer to that is...No, but that is because everyone looks bad this year at D, and I don't think a real good D could even stop this team. We average 11 different players a game catching passes, and have had 4 different RBs score TDs. I am not one to exaggerate , but we will score 70 points a game for the next 20 years...(until it gets cold...which is probably this weekend).

You face Big Sky defenses...so 70 probably isn't out of the questionSACCAT wrote:It actually is the worst in the history of football....but it got everyone to read this.

Totally agree. Cats are the next NDSU, and Ron Ash will take over at Alabama after Saban leaves.

As soon as Ash leaves, they make a run at the coach at ISU.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Not true sir. I would say we are more like Oregon. Destroy every tream till the final game, then get crushed....Grizalltheway wrote:Totally agree. Cats are the next NDSU, and Ron Ash will take over at Alabama after Saban leaves.

I honestly expect Cat-Griz to be a complete trainwreck this year. I'm not sure for which team, possibly both.

I expect I will be drunk, think every call will go against the Cats, and I will be a trainwreck by the end of it...I also expect the same from every griz fan.Brock Landers wrote:I honestly expect Cat-Griz to be a complete trainwreck this year. I'm not sure for which team, possibly both.

Probably as good as I felt leaving Missoula the year before. Also, MSU has now been mentioned on both the "Dan Patrick show" and on "Mike & Mike". Mike & Mike said that we score to many points, and that they would not watch games like these, because they are not real football. They think that Football should be a game of field position, and controlling the line of scrimmage. Fat Mike even said he would much rather watch a game with a final score of 7-3, because that is what real football is.Grizalltheway wrote:I actually felt pretty great leaving the litter box last year...SACCAT wrote:

He had -18 yards rushing vs. UND. They won't piss a drop in the playoffs.SACCAT wrote:It actually is the worst in the history of football....but it got everyone to read this.

What's your point? One of those TD's was by their defense too so they scored a whole 22 points vs. UND at home. I would say they played a good defense that day and struggled mightily compared to what they have done to everyone else.kalm wrote:They were up 26 to 7 at half.Sioux wrote:

Especially if the road goes through Fargo again, which it most likely will. No way they score more than 25 against NDSU, and their D will get steamrolled.Sioux wrote:He had -18 yards rushing vs. UND. 25? More like 10, if that. That would be an ugly football game for the road team.Grizalltheway wrote:Especially if the road goes through Fargo again, which it most likely will. No way they score more than 25 against NDSU, and their D will get steamrolled.Sioux wrote:

Re: MSU has great defense.
No one's under-rating their offense. But against the only two decent defenses they've faced (UND and Ark. St.), it was pretty clear it's possible to slow them down.kalm wrote:You're under-rating how good Montana State is.Sioux wrote:

Re: MSU has great defense.
The only thing that slowed us down in the Arkansas State game was us. Prukop had 300 yards and 4 TD's called back because of holding calls on our kicker....PLUS we felt bad that Arkansas State had to play Tennessee and Miami, so we LET them win to make them feel good. The UND game was because we were wearing the 1984 jerseys, and so we wanted to score the same amount we did back then.Grizalltheway wrote:No one's under-rating their offense. If the Griz beat MSU this year I'll, dunno...I'll do something. Seriously, though...I think they win handily.Grizalltheway wrote:No one's under-rating their offense.
