I agree with her, OLe, however, we need to abide. Just like the Conks do with the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

But the Donks DON'T have to abide, apparently? Obama has violated THAT law at least a dozen times in the past 18 months....

Frankly there is NO ADVANTAGE being a person anymore
You're far better off incorporating in any way you can - and going corporate bankruptcy a few times too
At least three times like the Donald Trump

Personal bankruptcy is not a good idea really (too much accountability)
All the advantages go with corporate bankruptcy  all the rich kids are doing it

mmmmmNot exactly. There is an issue here of how the HHS did not use the least restrictive means to serve its compelling interest (assuming for the sake of argument that it even has a compelling interest). How did SCOTUS determine that the least restrictive means were not used, you ask. Well, Hobby Lobby could incur fines of hundreds of millions a year for not meeting the mandate. That would, of course, do great financial damage to the company and its employees.

I'm glad thing turned out the way they did today but, really, the overall outlook is pretty bad. The fact that the two things in question to day were even in question is bad. The fact that we live under a paradigm in which the Federal Government has the authority to even tell businesses they have to offer health insurance at all is bad. No way that's really consistent with the Constitution.

Who is saying they shouldn't be accountable for their own actions?

Saying "Say no to drugs" is a dumb policy to combat drug use and "abstinence only" is a dumb policy to combat unwanted pregnancy isn't saying that neither should be held accountable for their actions. :?

My point is that the best contraceptive methods shouldn't be accessible based on income.

The ones who need it most are the ones who can't afford it.... because, if you can't afford an IUD... you certainly can't afford a child.

No such thing as "abortion pills." The "morning after pill" will not work if the woman is already pregnant when she takes it.

And, for your second point. There is still accountability to take care of it yourself. You can have dental coverage... but, you are still accountable to actually get dental care so your teeth don't rot out. How is dental coverage a lack of personal accountability? :?

IMHO, This is not a health issue, as much as it's a religious issue. This is a religious belief. They believe it's murder and want no part in it.

They don't want to pay for medicine that prohibits a fertilized egg from attaching while at the same time paying to prevent an egg from becoming fertilized. Ever had to go out and buy Plan B? Those pills are best used shortly after sex. The phrase "morning after pill" is a bit of a misnomer.

Yeah, I'm kinda warming to this ruling. Not that big of a deal.

Alito says in the opinion... that if employers do not provide the coverage that the government should take over the costs of providing it to them.
The government could, e.g., assume the cost of providing the four contraceptives to women unable to obtain coverage due to their employers’ religious objections
I'm fine with that. :thumb:

And, conservatives were in an uproar when that was done for religious nonprofits' exemptions. So, oh well. Fine by me.

"Congress shall make no law restricting the right to have someone else pay for your contraceptives." -- Must be in there somewhere, right?

If you can't afford a child and decide to have one anyway, then you should be sterilized.

Find the male responsible and eliminate any future baby making ability from the clown. Then make the female sterile. With the one baby to two idiot ratio, they will soon take themselves out of the population pool.

Well, there is another option... but, I certainly don't think social conservatives like the Hobby Lobby owners want to think of the results of poor people getting pregnant... and resorting to other options....

Easily affordable and accessible contraceptives = less abortions. Is that a presumption on my part, or... can we all agree on that?

Some Conks know this support making birth control pills over-the-counter. That's certainly a good start. :thumb:
