Can we just take a second to talk about how hilarious it is that the Vikes were booted in favor of a women's soccer game? PortlandJALMOND wrote:Griz/Viks in my backyard!!! (Hillsboro Stadium). Going with my brother (Griz alum). Should be fun.

The Portland Thorns are averaging 17,000+ fans per home game. PSU football isn't. The city supports soccer better than college football. Many places in the US don't give a squat about college football.Grizalltheway wrote: Can we just take a second to talk about how hilarious it is that the Vikes were booted in favor of a women's soccer game? OK, that's just silly. Most places do care about college football.mtjack wrote:The Portland Thorns are averaging 17,000+ fans per home game. PSU football isn't. Portland, however, is not one of those places.

I wonder if they're being motivated by a chance to embarrass their AD/President.Wildcat Ryan wrote:Mvemjsunpx wrote:NAU crushed NoCo 48-20

NAU could still make some noise

This upset doesn't surprise me (I picked it, actually). SHSU has proven they can make statement wins at home (Nicholls, UCA last year), but they haven't proven they can do it on the road.JohnStOnge wrote:I watched some of Sam Houston State's loss to Central Arkansas after I finished watching the McNeese State at Stephen F. Austin game. Briscoe looks very mortal when there's a pass rush on him...which there was in that game. Looked at the stats afterwards and he was below 50% passing. 22 of 50 (44%) for 303 yards with 3 TDs and 2 interceptions. Also should've had another interception while I was watching as a guy broke on him perfectly but just didn't catch the ball.

Hornets spotted EWU a 21-0 lead, then rally back to 21-17 late 2nd. 4th and 1 at the EWU 5 and Sears/Wulff elect to kick a FG...which is missed. EWU then gets a TD at the end of the 1st half and then rolls in the 2nd half.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Big Sky
