Well we are inside of two months until the 2016 season opening weekend in college football and once again, I will be ranking the teams in the Big South position by position as I have the previous 5 years.
This year's rankings will look significantly different this year as the team that has been at the top of most positions, Coastal Carolina, will be an FCS independent this year as they make the transition to FBS and the Sun Belt Conference.
I'll try to have my QB rankings up next Monday and post every week leading up to September 5. I may have multiple posts a couple weeks in order to cover every position group

Re: Big South 2016
I completely agree...I can't give much away because Im working on my first position thread right now, but there aren't going to be too many surprises at the offensive skill positions even with the Chants now an independent

Re: Big South 2016
BJ, what are your thoughts surrounding KSU having an outside shot of landing in the top 2-3 teams in the Big South this season?
It appears we return a lot of young talent (10 starters on both sides of the ball) and many programs lost production at the QB position. In addition, Coastal Carolina was really the the only team to put a beat down on the young Owls last year.
