Some people are the left are now feeling more comfortable defining themselves more as as centrists.

I've heard the women in this neighborhood say this...not only in the presidential primary, but in the last local city council election. And they even denounce other women who won't support a woman candidate...no matter the policy record. Traitors.
Notice there was not one thing about policy in that statement. The person was voting for Hillary simply because of her being a woman. Who cares if Hillary trumped Bush's war-hawk foreign policy...who cares if we are helping the Saudis use carpet bombs and bombing hospitals...who cares if Hillary gets gobs of money from Wall Street crooks...who cares if Hillary flip flops on superpredators, gay marriage, coal, or any number of things simply to get votes? She's a woman...and that is it.
Yup, you can openly talk about voting for someone that mirrors you...except if you are a White male, in which case, you are an insensitive, bigoted, racist, misogynist.
Ahhh...this primary election sure has delivered.
