The Liberty-Coastal Carolina rivalry game, likely for all the marbles in the Big South again, has been moved from its original Saturday night date to Thursday, 19 NOV at 1900 ET to accommodate broadcast on ESPNNews, the first time a Big South game will appear on an ESPN "linear" network. It's also to be the first league game played on Thursday night.
That won't help me (yet), but at least SOMEBODY should be able to watch the game if they have cable or a dish.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

A "Big South game" implies that BOTH teams are in the Big South. If only one team is Big South, that's an interconference game.

Nice that's pretty cool. I'll probably watch. I HOPE my Buccaneers can pull an upset or two and win the Big South. BUT....no doubt CCU and LU are the favorites. Should be a great game.
Every LU game is on ESPN3 in just about every sport. But this is obviously a nice step up.
Hopefully the attendance doesn't suffer from moving off the weekend. This should be a huge matchup in Williams Stadium. The last two meetings have been decided by missed kicks to end the game.

The weekend would have been the start of Thanksgiving Break so, if anything, this should actually help the attendance.

The last two meetings have actually been decided by walk-off blocked FG attempts both in favor of the visiting team. I don't know of any rivalry anywhere that's had that kind of drama in consecutive years.
