The GOP just got a woman in the Senate who knows what war is, because she's actually a combat veteran. She knows that the GOP supports women as much as anybody. And the GOP isn't claiming that women aren't capable of supporting themselves or defending themselves, as Donkeys have famously tried to claim.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

It was a very close race, with up to about 75% of precincts reporting, they had Owens(D) winning. I am not in this district so I wasn't able to vote for her but I would have if I could have.
