Rogue is easily found. New Belgium and Sierra Nevada have expanded to Asheville, NC now.
I honestly don't understand the fascination with New Belgium. Fat Tire is a decent beer, at best. Their other beers that I've had, mediocre. Not bad, but certainly not on par with Rogue, Dogfish, Flying Dog, etc.
But their marketing/advertising department gets an A+ because they certainly promoted their product well.
Agreed, but they have several pretty good brews. Of the four listed, I've had the least experience with Rogue. Flying Dog is my #1 by far. DFH sometimes tries too hard IMO. Sam's book on brewing isn't called "Extreme Brewing" for nothing. The problem with Rogue for me is I can only find 2-3 varieties. Just looked on their website...
