That Siskiyou and other northern counties have been considering secession isn't news. They've been mulling that over for decades. What IS news, however, is that Sacramento gridlock and angst over SoCal overriding them is causing them to pull the trigger on this.
Siskiyou is merely the first. I think there may be another three or four counties considering this. The new state is to be called Jefferson.
For me, this is a
