Kim Jong Un has been purging people since taking over and some new information has been released.

Kim Chol, vice minister of the army, was taken into custody earlier this year on the orders of Kim Jong-un, who assumed the leadership after the death of his father in December.
On the orders of Kim Jong-un to leave "no trace of him behind, down to his hair," according to South Korean media, Kim Chol was forced to stand on a spot that had been zeroed in for a mortar round and "obliterated."

That is brutal. You don't get short or hung, you get destroyed via mortar.

Brutal? The guy was VM of the ARMY. That seems like an appropriate way to go.

Most totalitarian state in the world. At least most west African and Arab people know their governments are rotten. The North Koreans live in a bubble and have no clue that South Korea used to have the same standard of living that they do and now there's a stark contrast. They thank "dear leader" for every little thing they have in life.
