Harvard football bracing for fallout from academic scandal

Post by bonarae »

What if any starters will be suspended because of this ongoing fiasco? :? Will the Ivy race open up to Penn and Co. if this impacts the football team? The men's basketball Ivy race may return to the P's IMHO because Kyle Casey will leave the school for one year because of this... :ohno:

All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

I just hope this doesn't jeopardize their chances for a playoff bid.

WAFJ. :ohno: We'll just have to see who suits up on Saturday. The travesty of it is that the course tests were open-book, open-note. There should be no need for cheating under circumstances like that, even at an academic pressure cooker like Harvard.

But Ted Kennedy cheated, so any liberals on this board can just STFU. :coffee:

I did not read the story yet, but let me guess.
Did some Harvard students get caught forging birth certificates?

No. They cheated on a take-home exam in a subject. Our two top returning men's basketball players are gone for the season and have withdrawn for a year. :ohno:

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

According to the Boston Globe, all FB players remain on the roster as of late yesterday.
