Continued efforts to revive other Big West football programs

Post by bonarae »

Some Fullerton alumni are still trying to return Division I football to Orange County...

But with budget cuts continuing to loom California for years to come, can it succeed after all? :?
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Not happening. LBSU was also in "consideration" but a student vote failed but that wouldn't have mattered as their President is anti-football. Fullerton's president has a similar attitude I believe.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
