I like the db Alabama A&M took Greg Jones he at 6-4 205 has Mel Blount type size.South Carolina St has a WR that intrigues me Taquan West he is 6-4 210 I hope they put him to some use as I would have hope the same for '07 recruit WR Antonio Ferguson he had the exact same dimentions 6-4 205 but was never used.latineaux wrote:Texas Southern landed some top notch players from the Houston area.dal4018 wrote:Here's the list of SWAC signees http://www.swac.org/ViewArticle.dbml?SP ... Re: SWAC/MEAC SIGNEES
We'll see how the coaches handle them, but Southern got some good talent from Memphis and Miami. Also got on of the top running backs in Baton Rouge on an academic scholarship. And most importantly a kicker.

Re: SWAC/MEAC SIGNEES
Supposedly SU recruited a RB from the state of Nevada as well.Jackson St has a very tiny recruiting class maybe its because of academic infractions from the football team.tampajag wrote:We'll see how the coaches handle them, but Southern got some good talent from Memphis and Miami. It was great that we picked up Tillery, he is a really tough kid who works hard.tampajag wrote:We'll see how the coaches handle them, but Southern got some good talent from Memphis and Miami. Hope coach Asberry has some good defenders.Haven't had a decent defense in quite a while.latineaux wrote:Texas Southern landed some top notch players from the Houston area.dal4018 wrote:Here's the list of SWAC signees http://www.swac.org/ViewArticle.dbml?SP ...
