Thanks to the SEC, WCU 2011 has 10 games

Because the SEC wants to play SoCon teams in November, we get our home game with Wofford moved up which means we have to drop Tusculum since they have no other open dates to accomodate us and now we are stuck with 10 games.

Hope our AD can fill another home game for either 9/17 or 11/19. Unreal! I guess $EC talks. :ohno:

"We greatly appreciate the cooperation of the four Southern Conference programs that rearranged their 2011 football schedules at our request," said SoCon Commissioner John Iamarino. "We realized that this would inconvenience our programs, but it was important to the league to assist the SEC in its objectives and I'm grateful to our coaches and administrators for working this out with us."

Nope Johnny, it only inconvenienced ONE PROGRAM..................hope Samford's blood money at Auburn was worth it you yankee scum!

there's plenty of time to schedule another team, whether it be NAIA or otherwise

I know that we were supposed to be playing Indiana on 9/17 but that got changed, (they are playing SC State). Knowing how DSU operates our schedule is quite possibly no where close to even being completed. Besides, I would love to make a road trip to WCU.
MEAC, last one out turn off the lights.

That sucks. You will fill it with sub D1 competition though and get a nice SEC paycheck.

Uh.....no, we don't play Auburn, Samford does, but with all the moving around, it was US who got screwed. Hope the GT game will bring a good payday.
