North Carolina Central has canned their head coach after starting 2-4. They face undefeated Bethune-Cookman this week.

I would agree that losing to a first-year startup would qualify as a "fireable offense"

But in all seriousness this was a move that needed to me made on their part, the Eagles are looking to make some noise in the MEAC next season, might as well get the word out and attempt to give whoever they can get in there (Broadway perhaps?) a running headstart.

Thought so...I didn't remember anything on his departure...

Just the way DSU put it, I thought maybe I had missed his leaving Grambling in the recent past...

NCCU fans called him a dumbass the last two years they were in Boone so this doesn't shock me.

They have something brewing down there in Durham, I would be surprised if they make him an offer. Also considering the upheaval in the state of Louisiana in regards to athletic budgeting. Not to mention a shot at returning to his roots and the chance of building something great, instead of living in the shadows of the glory that is Grambling....#imjustsayin
