I wasn't able to actually go, but it sounds as if it was a good time and a great game. UAalumn72 went though and took a sweet panoramic shot of the empty bowl with 9800 in attendance. I'll let him post it though.
The only advantage to a noon gametime I could think of is that the sun's still high and warm after the game, so post-game tailgating is much more inviting than in chilly air under a setting sun.
Leaving for the game at 6:30 am is a different story.
