Most Surprising Result: (#9) Eastern Washington 7, (#17) Montana St. 30 - Montana was EWU's Super Bowl… Montana State was apparently their Pro Bowl.

Best Performance: South Dakota St. 3, (FBS) Nebraska 17 - The Jackrabbit defense shines as they avoid a blowout at the hands of an FBS top-10 team.

Worst Performance: Indiana St. 7, Western Illinois 40 - Sycamores outgained 403-173 as they experience Leatherneck vengeance.

Most Surprising Result: South Dakota St. 3, (FBS) Nebraska 17 - This could be a springboard for a Jackrabbit turnaround, but their anemic offense (6.7 ppg) needs to get things going.

OVC

TTU 21-23 SEMO
JAXST 28-23 EIU
UTM 16-52 MUR
FAMU 18-29 TSU (in Atlanta, GA)
AP 3-70 WISC

Worst Performance: Tennessee-Martin 16, Murray St. 52 - After averaging 53.6 ppg in five straight wins over the Racers, the Skyhawks get smothered here.

    Most Surprising Result: Murray St. 52, Tennessee-Martin 16 - Definitely didn't expect a blowout in this contest…

HC 7-17 GTOWN

    vs. FCS: 0-2
    Overall: 7-12

Best Performance: Georgetown 17, Holy Cross 7 - Despite being held to their lowest point total of the season, the Hoyas knock off the defending Patriot champs.

Worst Performance: Fordham 24, (DII) Assumption 30 - Uh, double coverage, anyone? The Rams allow 16 catches for 163 yards to Greyhound WR David Canney.

Most Surprising Result: Georgetown 17, Holy Cross 7 - The ultimate doormat Hoyas are 2-0 in conference while no-one else even has a win. I think someone needs to grab the Vince Lombardi "What the hell is going on here!?" clip that Chris Berman beat into the ground.

Tomorrow: the rest of the playoff conferences.
