Barneys "sneer" Robins Stadium

Over on the JMU website there is a post in which the Barneys sneer at the University of Richmond's on campus football stadium by suggesting silly names for that facility. Of course, as expected, they jump on the small capacity of the facality by suggesting uncomplimentary names for it. I won't mention any of them here. I do like one brave UR soul that commented to these morons, " You can call it anything you want, we call it home!" I was not the Richmond fan that responded in such a wonderful manner.

I don't know but you'd think his dumb ass would eventually work out that those JMU fans don't post here so he'd go over to the zone. There's not much crossover between the JMU fans here and there so I don't know why he doesnt go bitch over there - and don't you guys have your own boards exactly for stuff like this?

To the ugly JMU poster....I won't respond to your comment.....To Penthouseclosedend....ur76 is a real person....having attended UR from 1972-1976, graduating in May of 1976 with a BA Degree. Of the schools in CAA football, I dislike JMU the most! I can't stand those Barneys! While I am not too happy with the capacity of Robins Stadium, at least those Barneys will not be able to invade like they did when the games were played at the old UR stadium!

I actually saw some pics of Robins stadium when UR played Elon...it actually looks like a great place to watch a game. I definitely liked the endzone bleachers added for the students...

School message boards are where like-minded individuals discuss their team. A favorite activity on such boards is having fun at the expense of a rival.

UR is JMU's rival + You guys built a tiny stadium = Target for jokes.

Grow some skin, man...it's all in good fun though I am quite sure the spider boards are above such childish behavior.

Easy fella. You folks aren't even a twinkle in your mother's eye yet. Plus, Tribe fans are more likely than any to get their noses bent out of shape over perceived slights. UR fans not so much in my experience. Have a few go 'rounds with 'St. Jimmye', the gatekeeper all that is right and never wrong with football, get your game up and then join this convo.

I have. Was sitting in JMU student section at the time. Come to think of it, it was also 2004. Point is, ODU fans showed great passion and support for team, but rowdiness is another matter.
