Bush should be on this list
And before you mention the off-field arrest SCFBF, re-visit the incident. He didn't maim or kill anybody or steal anything. Years ago, my other half got hauled off for hitting (not punching) my son. My son was at fault but was obstinate and called the police. Hubber spent the night in jail but nothing, other than a fine/bail, ever came of it. (the same amount that Bush had to post)
The girl was slapping/punching on him, he pushed her away, she fell and hit her head. She called the police, who didn't see cause to arrest anyone but the law required them to take him in.
I don't condone domestic violence and I don't find this to be such. It was a case of what the law requires since she called. If he had called on her, would it have had the same impact?

Re: Phil Steele's 2010 Pre-season All SLC Team
PS - we don't have anyone on the pre-season 'D' team but I'll bet we will have them on the post-season team
Also of note, Caston (2nd team QB) has been moved to WR

For the record Bush is a solid player with good speed but there is uncertainty of how well he will hold up and nobody will know until he touches the field. On his off field incident I have heard other things about him besides that arrest which I doubt many Texas State fans know about. As far as the NFL basically I have that he has some issues off the field, injuries, and he is just 5'10 175 pounds. A player like him likely won't be touched by NFL teams. I believe he will be an impact player in the CFL or UFL as long as he is healthy. As far as his spot on the All-SLC team I think you can go either way here. I actually agree with Steele in his projection that Bush won't be on the first or second team but a media outlet who lists him on either team is not wrong at this point. Remember that Steele predicts what he thinks WILL happen and doesn't put what he thinks is more worthy. Even Steele said on the radio that Ohio State likely should be preseason number one but he lists Oklahoma because he thinks they WILL be number one at the end of the year. I'm sure he'd even admit that W&M probably shouldn't be preseason number one but he believes they will get over the hump and win the NC and thus they are number one in his ranking.
