Big South
Re: Big South
Don't think CSU has one.

There's Liberty's.
Lyrics will differ depending on where you find them, if you want the lyrics the way we usually sing them, let me know.

Re: Big South
I did find Liberty's.
I got CCU, Liberty and the Blue Hose...that's it.

Re: Big South
I know VMI has one, but I don't know if they have an audio online.
CSU doesn't have one, as far as I know.
Stony Brook:
Fight Song (Music: Perry Goldstein; Lyrics: Howard Gimpel)
The Fight Song was written by Perry Gosldstein and Howard Gimpel in commemoration of the band's inaugural season.
We're the red-hot Seawolves of SBU,
We never stop fighting until the battle's through.
Let's go Stony Brook,
Let's go team,
Don't let go until you hear them scream:
Seawolves Rock,
Seawolves Rule!
Let's go Stony Brook the number one school.

Wow... that's kinda homo-erotic. I'm sure our SBU posters are at least a little embarrassed about this song?
G-W has one but I can't find anything more about it.

That being said, it's never used outside of the harmony, which is pretty solid. The major one SBU uses is our school song:
Sandy shore
Meeting the Northern sea
Ancient ground where newborn dreams arise
Scarlet, gray
Under azure skies
The morning of a lifetime lies in Stony Brook
Raise a grateful cheer for Stony Brook!
Youthful joys
Youthful folly, too
Ancient wisdom seen through youthful eyes
Lifelong friends
Bound by youthful ties
The morning of a lifetime lies in Stony Brook
Raise a grateful cheer for Stony Brook!
It's a bit better. Overall, I'd rather we use Ohio State's fight song as a template.

Re: Big South
I found that for SBU but I can't find and audio...or at least a usable audio for VMI or SBU
Re: Big South
Heh, when that was written I'm not sure even the composer believed that. Things seem to have changed quite a bit though. The athletic product here has improved quite a bit in both football and basketball. This is overlooking our nationally ranked team in lacrosse. Liberty knows that transition well too.ToTheLeft wrote:Let's go Stony Brook, the number one school!
