Tough slate again this year. Gonna be tough to make the playoffs with that schedule.

Re: 2010 SUU Schedule
I agree this is a tough schedule but at the same time it is a great step in the right direction. The tougher competition and the more exposure we get will go a long way in attracting more players to SUU and help us grow as a team. I am afraid however that we may have scheduled us out of a playoff spot however as we only have 8 FCS games meaning we could only lose 1 and have a shot at getting in. Ill be optimistic however and hope that we can show the FCS we are becoming a team to be reckoned with

I think there has to be a balance. Having a tough slate only gets you so far. One winning season since 2000 will turn off a lot of people too. If you can have 3-4 tough games, maybe win one or two of them and make the playoffs... that's the formula that will build the program. 3-8, 4-7, 5-6... not going to get much traction IMO.SUUTbird wrote:The tougher competition and the more exposure we get will go a long way in attracting more players to SUU and help us grow as a team. Re: 2010 SUU Schedule
I agree hen whole heartedly especially since we are in a conference that can only get an at large bid or possibly two to get into the playoffs. I would really have liked to see us either have one less FBS game or just lose the D2 game entirely and replace them with another FCS team. Even better would be a schedule of pure FCS teams to ensure we have a pretty good chance to get an at large bid if we win enough89Hen wrote:I think there has to be a balance.
