The backup is throwing the ball well though. Their starter was more of a dual threat but the backup is no slouch.

BTW, this is the first time I've seen Adams play. Unless this is an abberational game for him there is no way that is the best QB in FCS. Like for instance there is no way he is as good as Southeastern Louisiana's guy. No way.

You put Southeastern Louisiana's guy in there in this game instead of him and they're doing much better.

I'm not saying Southeastern Louisiana's guy is the best guy in FCS either. Don't know. Haven't seen them all. But he's better than that Adams guy.

What I'm talking about is based on this game they just don't look that good. Of course I think they did put it on a team a lot better than Jacksonville State is last week. But I didn't see that one. This week they just don't look that good.

Put it this way: Eastern Illinois beat Jacksonville State 52-14. And that wasn't a long time ago. It was November 16. You look at this game and you have to say Eastern Washington very well could've lost to Jacksonville State if Jacksonville State's starting quarterback hadn't gotten hurt.

Not as pathetic as my alma mater McNeese State by any means. But still not a real impressive performance by Eastern Washington. Jacksonville State is a team that would not have even made the playoffs if we were under the old 16 team format.

I see Jordan Talley intercepted that last pass. He was heavily recruited by a lot of schools as a RB. And a good one at that. Makes me laugh to see eastern use him as a DB.

You guys sure have a hard time giving credit where its due. It was a tough game against a tough team. (much better than I expected) VA threw to ducks that got picked.. but he still came through in the clutch and so did Quincy Forte. EASTERN SHUT DOWN another so-called big time rb.. Eastern gets ANOTHER home game baby.
