I didn't say you would care or not. I'm saying it would be pretty stupid of me to care what you'd say. None of which matters, the point I was making (rather obviously I thought) was that EWU got through some pretty close ass calls in the playoffs against NDSU and UD. Either play goes the other way and the Big Sky is all of a sudden the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th best conference? Shows you how flawed the arguments are.

Trust me, some of us do.

The SoCon was way down from its average (non-App) level and the Big Sky had a much higher level of play. But it really doesn't matter to some people since the Appies go to the playoffs every year.

The Patriot League is better than the OVC. All you have to do is look at the two conferences playoff performances during the last 10 years . The PL has done much better against really good competition. Their draw is usually playing the CAA champ on the road. I will give credit to Jax State though, they've been very good. Still, the PL has had Lehigh, Colgate, Holy Cross and Lafayette step up recently.

Lehigh, Colgate, Holy Cross and Lafayette are better year in and year out than Jax State, SEMO, EIU, Murray State, EKU etc. If Lehigh truly has its act together the whole league will benefit imo. The Hawks seem to get solid respect within the FCS community. .

I'd go out on a limb and say the PL is comparable to the MVFC right now. The bottom of the PL is much worse but the top 3-4 teams are pretty comparable. The CAA, SoCon and perhaps the Big Sky are at a different level.

Yeah, maybe to the middle-lower MVC teams, which does not make the conferences compareable.

Let's see here, the 2010 BSC had two seeded teams, three in the final top 20, 6 who finished 6-5 or better, finished #2 in the final GPI, but alas, only managed one NC.

Is that such a big deal? Looks pretty similar to the MVFC. I dont think there were any D2s included in the MVFC record either. I do know of at least one BCS/FBS win. Adjust your records for D2/lower division exhibition that shuldnt be included anyway and take a look at the won/loss against BCS/FBS and get back to me, ok man?

Besides, everybody in the Sky above UNC had a guaranteed 3 wins on the schedule. Take 2 of those out because everyone in the MVFC had 1 guaranteed win and things look a little diffent. Things look a lot different when you play in a strong conference with parity then they do in a weaker conference with a top and bottom tier.
