You mean
alleging that it was lost because of that. He has no idea as to whether he'd have won if none of that would ever have happened. In fact, if I had to bet, I'd bet he would not have. He was just throwing a tantrum.
Just like the Cruz campaign had no idea whether Carson was suspending the campaign. Didn't stop them though. If you were in Trumps shoes you would be saying the same thing. Or else you'd be weak.
