Putin's open letter in the NYT was awesome and hilarious. He's doing donuts in Obama's front lawn. The Savior of the World fails again. Obama + Foreign Policy = George W. Bush.

I don't know whether it's alarming or amazing how MANY Americans agree with the President of Russia on this point:
It is alarming that military intervention in internal conflicts in foreign countries has become commonplace for the United States. Is it in America’s long-term interest? I doubt it. Millions around the world increasingly see America not as a model of democracy but as relying solely on brute force, cobbling coalitions together under the slogan “you’re either with us or against us.”

But force has proved ineffective and pointless. Afghanistan is reeling, and no one can say what will happen after international forces withdraw. Libya is divided into tribes and clans. In Iraq the civil war continues, with dozens killed each day. In the United States, many draw an analogy between Iraq and Syria, and ask why their government would want to repeat recent mistakes.
And while the whole letter was an awesome case of beatdown, this little nugget at the end was like the cherry on top of a huge sundae....what an epic beatdown.
My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

The donks must be really conflicted. Their superstar "Peace Prize President" has been shown to be Bush 2.0, and is getting beaten down by a guy that is ex-KGB and probably the president of their dreams...but, they can't imagine disagreeing with a Democrat president--especially one that could possibly be used and abused the way he has with his Syria debacle and are struggling.

I watched some morning shows this morning and all the liberal talking heads could muster was, "I can't believe anyone would agree with the President of Russia." No comments about the content of the letter, just the profound disbelief that anyone would disagree with Obama.

Ehh, that's going a bit too far. However, I think this should seal the deal for Putin to win his first Nobel Peace Prize. :thumb:

I'm anti-Obama. I used to find pleasure in people making him look like a fool...but it happens with such regularity now, it's hardly news.

Just wait, Walter White.....uh...I mean - Barack Obama is ready to put the beat down on Putin and his mealy-mouthed synchophants, like you. Ultimately, he's light years smarter than you and your buddy RasPutin.

Putin would have done nothing (never did, ever) if Obama's sabre rattling didn't wake him the fuck up.
