I love ya bud, but let's not have revisionist history here. Those "old days" were as late as '93-'96, not "the 50's and 60's".Ursus A. I can totally see that and the fun it probably was back in the 50's & 60's when those games were being played.

What are you talking about? I'm not referring to BSU, Nevada, or Idaho. I'm talking about Colorado St., Washington, Utah St., UCLA,, etc....AZGrizFan wrote:I love ya bud, but let's not have revisionist history here. Additional UM information from the AD last night. All of this are quotes from Facebook. Note the huge financial impact of home games in Missoula. That's one of the big reasons UM likes home games, whether regular season or playoff--and what keeps some sponsors and donors happy. Note that UM has about 5,000 non-revenue tickets, not the 4500 I estimated in my earlier post.
1. Brint Wahlberg: Jim, I have continually heard different numbers but what is the residual amount of money spent in Missoula (on average) for each home football game?
UM Grizzly Athletics: The estimates (unscientific) are between 5 and 7 million per weekend.
2. UM Grizzly Athletics: The allotment for alumni for Homecoming is 700 tickets. With a season ticket base of 19,500 plus, along with 4,000 tickets for students, and 1,000 tickets for other obligations (corporate, players' parents, recruiting, etc) that leaves around 700 tickets remaining.
3. Alan Aavedal: Jim, is there still serious consideration taking place on moving up to the FBS within the next 3-5 years?
UM Grizzly Athletics: Not at the current time.
