Colgate All-American TJ Holl has been offered by Louisville as a graduate transfer.
Cincinnati, Marshall, Buffalo, Tulane and Texas-San Antonio. Also offering were FCS schools North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Eastern Kentucky and the Citadel. North Dakota State recently won its seventh FCS title in eight years. Coincidentally, the Bison ended Colgate’s season.

Hey dum dum, I-AA will also put a few players in the NFL... like they do every year. One QB moving up to I-A doesn't mean much, especially since he hasn't taken a snap for Wazzou (might not). Oh, that's right, you site other players who moved up... and failed.kalm wrote:Not bragging. Just stating facts.89Hen wrote: You're the one bragging.

AND if the best players are leaving I-AA, what does that say about what's left?

Hey, silly person, if Gubrud (the guy who fell 33 yards short of McNair’s total offense record and holds the passing yards record) stayed he’d be competing for the starting job here as well...89Hen wrote:Hey dum dum, I-AA will also put a few players in the NFL... like they do every year. So, am I the only person that's really ho-hum on this year's playoff bracket?
I'm looking forward to Wofford and Kennesaw but that's a niche interest, and though Bison fans are probably sick of playing SDSU in the playoffs it's been a good series in the playoffs and it most likely won't occur this season.
At least the likely match between NDSU and JMU could be epic.
*ducks*

POSSIBLE NDSU V UND, UNI V SDSU, Montana St v Sac St, Montana v BBQ, all look great.

I fapped when the bracket was revealed.

Meh...sometimes it doesn’t work out. There was talk during last game’s broadcast that Oregon might be coming after Barriere.89Hen wrote:Hey kalm, how did Gubrud work out at Wazzou?kalm wrote:

NDSU has a qb that threw for over 300 yards against Oklahoma last year, and he got beat out by a redshirt Fr.89Hen wrote:So that's 2 of 3 busts from your list?kalm wrote:

Re: Is FCS (Beside NDSU) Really This Bad?
NDSU is the cream-if-the-crop-right now but there are others. While NDSU is setting new standards of performance at the FCS level some others are:
JMU
SDSU
UNI
WEBER
These teams are just as good as the top teams in FCS has ever been. NDSU is better. Measuring # of pro players is very misleading. Maybe in the past pro aspirations were more important than now? NDSU has seen a lot of good players pass, others not picked, some practice squad, some bounce around, some make a roster, some stay on it. It is and always has been.
For a lot of players there are simply better alternatives these days than an outstanding FCS player bouncing around the NFL.

That is one of the exact reasons this pro count thing is not valid.

Yeah! In my face. A QB who lost his starting job at Iowa State to a freshman can't start at NDSU.kalm wrote:Ha! IYFF, 89!Gil Dobie wrote:

Which part don't you get? QB loses starting job to a freshman, transfers to NDSU and doesn't win the starting job there either.kalm wrote:89Hen wrote: Yeah! In my face. A QB who lost his starting job at Iowa State to a freshman can't start at NDSU.

Big 12 QB who passed for 300 yards against a top 10 OU last year transfers with the belief he should be able to start at an FCS school, gets beat out by a freshman QB because FCS is able to recruit and develop B12 level talent.89Hen wrote:Which part don't you get? Trey Lance first QB in FCS history with 200 passing attempts without an INT. NEVER an INT! The Iowa State guy just picked the wrong school. Would have done well and UNI.

What do you mean by Big12 talent? Transfer couldn't cut it at a middling Big12. He was not Big12 talent.kalm wrote:Big 12 QB who passed for 300 yards against a top 10 OU last year transfers with the belief he should be able to start at an FCS school, gets beat out by a freshman QB because FCS is able to recruit and develop B12 level talent.89Hen wrote: Which part don't you get?
