Villanova defeats Temple. Maybe 'Nova is expected to beat Temple?
I think JMU sticks with Maryland...JMU karma is due an ACC win...Thorpe (redshirt freshman QB) and Caussin (TE) chip away at Maryland and have a big game.
FBS wins for FCS teams...

Villanova over Temple...I don't know much about the other match ups but I think Nova has a real chance to open the season with a win over Temple. If not a win, it should at least be a good game and not a huge blow out.

Maryland always plays down to the perceived competition. A miserable Delware team hung around last year and they lost to MTSU. Then they go a show up and stun Cal, Clemson and Wake. It's a bizarre thing. Win the ones you shouldnt, lose the ones you should.
If it weren't for how Matthews plays the FBS teams, I'd say JMU would have a legit shot at the upset.

I give SIU a puncher's chance against Marshall. If Lennon can beat UNI in the Dome with a D2 team, he can beat Marshall at their place with a loaded FCS team.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

It's a paradox, isn't it?
I still don't care for or follow the FBS but as this is about FCS teams playing those other guys I suppose I can acquiesce, for a bit

SIU has never lost to Marshall. Granted they haven't played in three decades, but I think the Dawgs have chance to continue the trend.houndawg wrote:I give SIU a puncher's chance against Marshall.
