Stop repeating the same things,, and give us an explanation as to why its been 13 seasons & PSU STILL DOESN'T HAVE THE TESTICULAR FORTITUDE to win a big sky conference title.

Anyway, to paraphrase you, Why cant EWU cant seem to beat PSU? Answer that, Beverly Hillbilly.
(yawn). Too much yelling, not enough reasoning. Sounding more and more like Skip Bayless or Stephen A Smith.

Pretty good. How many of those did you share with the certain Missoula school? No matter, it still is better than us.BlackFalkin wrote:BIG SKY TITLES

I still live in the present and I still want to know why EWU cannot beat a Glanville coached PSU team? Everyone else seems to be able to, why can't the Eagles? It seems, if memory is correct, one of those losses to PSU prevented you from winning the conference (2007?). We've won in Cheney, we've won in Portland, we will win in Seattle, and I can tell that bugs the hell out of you. Why else would this dialogue have gone as long as it has? I will finish by saying see you in Seattle, and bring your "A" game. I don't want to hear any lame excuses again.

Stop tryin to build hype guy. I dont care what happens in Seattle, or PSU's coach. PSU doesnt matter, they aren't relevant...JALMOND wrote: I still live in the present and I still want to know why EWU cannot beat a Glanville coached PSU team? Yes, PSU has beat us the last three years. It's hardly a streak. EWU beat PSU three straight years before that. Why couldn't you beat us then? Glanville has been coaching at PSU TWO SEASONS!!! That's like saying, 'how come MSU hasn't beat a Beau Baldwin-coached EWU team?' Okay, maybe it's not, because we've beaten MSU 6 straight years. Now that, is a streak.
If PSU beats us this year, I'll come back for crow. But don't get high on what little PSU has going for them coming into this season... it's not much.
Lastly, the reason the game is in Seattle is because a good portion of the players on the team, as well as a good portion of the students at EWU, are from the West-side of the state. We have a bunch of alumni out there, and it's a chance for them to see a game without driving across the pass. It's good exposure for a struggling program in terms of publicity and funding. Despite that, we've only had 1 losing season in the last decade.

We haven't needed much to beat EWU the last two years.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Jalmond.JALMOND wrote:

We have a bunch of players from western Washington and the Seattle area as well. Also, Seattle is closer and a helluva lot easier to get to than Cheney/Spokane. I don't even have to drive, I can take the train (like going to a Seahawks game). You could have scheduled Northern Colorado or Montana State and not given up the home field advantage. As it is, there could be as many PSU fans as EWU fans there, thus turning it into a true neutral field.
As it sits, it looks awfully suspicious that the EWU athletic department saw who they were playing at home in conference (UNC, WSU, MSU and PSU) and given the recent success EWU has had against WSU and MSU (and of course UNC), decided to ship the tougher game (in terms of a "sure" win) out of town. Before it was moved, there was no way I was going to make it out to Cheney. Now, being that it is in Seattle, there's no way I will miss it.

They must be looking at the entire history of the conference.

No, PSU didn't need much to beat us in 2006 when we fielded a young, inexperienced team. 2007 we held the lead or tied most of the way, then our D gave it to you at the end, losing by 7. Last year our defense couldn't stop jack shit, so we just tried to outscore Hubel and crew. We almost did it too, but that turnover in the 4th was costly. The last two years were close fought battles. 2006 we got trumped.JALMOND wrote:We haven't needed much to beat EWU the last two years.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:

And no game is a "sure" win, not in the Big Sky.
Quest field is huge, and there's no way it will come close to being filled, even with a plethora of PSU fans. So yes, it is a neutral field. Except for the fact that it's a real football field, so that might throw PSU off for the first half.
