You all need to work on your fishing skills.

If CAA fans were going to claim the CAA is some sort of better conference (and I can't recall any here doing so), then they'd say that FCS is way way up after the drubbing the CAA took. Your logic appears backward.

But anybody can tell just by watching, or if you need proof by comparing any of a number of statistical systems, that FCS is way, way down this year. This is not the FCS of the 200X's decade. Not even close. So many good teams have left the subdivision, and historical powers such as UM, UD, UNI, YSU, etc are down that it's a great time for people still fielding decent teams.
