Hardly. Liberty and Coastal are our super bowls. Better teams. Bigger consequences.
Nope. It is quite obvious from your behavior that this is your super bowl this weekend.
Hahahaha! Yea right.
If I could pick between a guarantee of beating Citadel, Coastal or Liberty.....Citadel would be my last pick. CCU and LU are championship caliber playoff contenders. Citadel is not. Id be great to win again...but I can promise you that win or lose, come Sunday, CSU fans, players and coaches will be focused on how to catch up with those top BSC teams and try to get that trophy.

Drama queen? That sums up Citadel grads actually. They never really see fellow citizens as anything but knobs, at least the ones in life I've encountered.
I actually wish our AD would take Citadel off the schedule and put SC State back on. They had a more fun gameday experience. ..and although we played them extremely close 3x in a row we never got those wins. We compete with them for recruits more than Citadel so it would help CSU more to go that route.

Oh how clever of you. Nah, luckily I dont work for them, so they dont get that opportunity to feel like their old bully glory days are back. Grown ups shouldnt act like that.

They do a lot of BUDS training at CSU, do they?
Just as much as they do at Citadel. You guys are a military themed college, not an official US military institute. ROTC in campus like almost all schools have. Todays Post and Courier says 70% of Citadel grads never join the actual military upon graduation. Your attitude (along with you admitting to chasing high school girls) is partly why Citadels reputation in the Charleston area has collapsed so much.
Anyhooo....enough of that. Its Gameday. Maybe your football team will rep the college better today than many of your alumni do.

You really have no idea what you are talking about. There are five federal service academies (not institutes). The Citadel isn't themed. All members of the corps of cadets must complete eight semesters of ROTC instruction to graduate. The Citadel does have an official DoD designation as one of six Senior Military Colleges.
About 40% of my class was commissioned. I was among the 40% and spent seven years in the Army.

Yep and many CSU alumni, and former football players, commissioned into the military.
We arent Notre Dame or TCU or Liberty. And you guys arent West Point or Annapolis. Difference is.....we know our place in line.

Who mandates cadets into ROTC, the school....or US government? CSU has ROTC, doesnt make us a military college. Thats what i mean by "military themed".

What does the fact of the 5 federal service academies have to do with The Citadel, which isn't one?
The United States Military Academy, The United States Naval Academy, The United States Coast Guard Academy, The United States Merchant Marine Academy, and the The United States Air Force Academy.
The Citadel is a senior military college, recognized under r 10 USC 2111a(f), along with VMI, Norwich, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and the University of N. Georgia. The Citadel is a state sponsored, public school.
I'm just confused as to why you'd mention federal academies when we're talking about a state military college.

I think the commission rate is now at around 30%.
I wondered that too.
Anyway...how you feeling about CCUs game today? Your guys hopefully wont be overlooking their opponent, they have some good athletes.
