Hell, Rush Limbaugh, while he doesn't agree (obviously), he was saying it's his business to run. You want it, go buy it on Amazon. I think it's a stupid move.
Also, why isn't anyone talking about how this book has been left off the NYT Best Sellers list?

Shopping for two at Costco isn't really that good of a deal. A 72-pack of toilet paper or 24-pack of paper towels might be one thing, but I need space for other important stuff in my basement.Chizzang wrote:CID1990 wrote:

Now that the Washington State "control Board" has converted all the State Run Liquor Shops to Marijuana Dispenser facilities - the Booze has been relegated to the grocery store (and Costco and Liquor Barn)
And yet - the prices is still very stable

Good for them - they have a good business model if they can provide that while keeping prices low. I have no beef with that - IMO Costco>Sam's and Target>>>>Walmart for several reasons. The books management encourages his buyers to ignore doesn't really impact me anyway since I no longer have a membership there anyway - I rarely used my membership for the two years I had it so it no longer made sense.Grizalltheway wrote:Is it also surprising that a Seattle-based company offers its employees decent wages and health insurance?ASUG8 wrote:This is very surprising coming from a Seattle-based company.![]()

Well, a true patriot would allow for a contrary point of view to be heard, so no. Costco's CEO isn't. He's a partisan like you. I know nothing of D'Souza but what makes him anti-american? Or, is it because he's a Republican?dbackjon wrote:travelinman67 wrote:Costco has ordered its stores to pull Dnesh D'Souza's book "America" from its shelves. Do you pay taxes on your Amazon purchases?
Re: Costco Bans "America"
Haven't you learned anything? Jon and Tman are identical. Both believe people of their party affiliation are right, have all the answers and are "patriots". Anyone that is different, is a moron, a traitor, un-American, etc... Re: Costco Bans "America"
From his bio, it doesn't sound that way. Why, and this is a serious question, do you causally throw aside anything and anyone that isn't a liberal or Democrat? Everyone, and that's not a stretch, that isn't a Democrat or liberal in some fashion, hates America, hates gays, etc.. Why are you so hateful?dbackjon wrote:CID1990 wrote:

Again, those are serious questions. Personally, I don't care what your party affiliation is. I don't claim a party. I vote for the best person. Sometimes it's a Republican and sometimes it's a Democrat. In 2008 it was Obama. In 2012 it was Johnson.
