That was depressing. Missed FG at the end.

KUDOS to Michigan.

I guess 63 scholarships does that. Imagine if the rest of the Patriot League actually went full-scholly. IMO, the CAA would have some serious competition, or even be surpassed.

You have 2 plays from the goal line and you cannot get it in??? They deserve to lose.

That first run was a dumb call, particularly with the refs not putting the review time back on the clock. That was a mistake, although it can't be blamed. Akron still got two plays off.

The time should not have gone back on.

The clock stopped for an injury time out as well as the first down.

The clock still starts on the set from of the official.

The set was given and time ran down.

Akron didn't call a TO or run a play.

Review happened.

The review didn't change when the clock would have started...as a matter of fact it would have hurt Akron as the clock wouldn't have been stopped as long in the first place after the previous play

It doesn't matter, but the refs let 6 seconds tick off before they decided to review. Inefficient refereeing at the very least.

The booth decides the review - not the refs on the field.

The time between the start of the clock and the review had Akron lined up with all the time to call a TO or run a play.

It was the correct rule not to put time back on the clock.

That type of situation happens probably a dozen times a weekend across CFB, and is handled the same way every time.

All true, and they gave Michigan a 6 sec runoff which put Akron in a very bad spot. Bad officiating like I said.

Montana State up 19-0 over Colorado Mesa (DII). Pretty ugly game. MSU doesn't look that impressive, to be honest.

Looks like ODU has recovered from the complete ass-beating they took at Maryland last week.

Meanwhile, Navy brutalizing the Hens 44-7 late. This is a very good Navy team, and Delaware hasn't helped with turnovers galore and no inspiration whatsoever. Navy keeping the starters in late in the 4th, trying to make some poll noise.
