Local race: DE State Rep District 32
Incumbent Brad Bennett isn't running for re-election...because he is currently serving a 30 day sentence for his SECOND DUI arrest since winning the seat back in 2008. So his wife, Andria Bennett is running in his place. Also, Andria Bennett is the daughter of Representative John Viola (D-Newark) and a legislative aide to two Democratic state senators, Margaret Rose Henry and Karen Peterson. So she does have political experience.
Not to mention that she is Bennett's second wife. Bennett's first wife was the daughter of State Senator Brian Bushweller.
Funniest thing is that everyone expected for Brad Bennett's replacement on the ballot would just be a placeholder until 2014 when he is presumed to be running again. I have a feeling that Andria may not be so willing to give up her new seat without a fight...

Two of three aint bad.89Hen wrote:We also have Question 6 for gay marriage, but it's been WAY overshadowed by other issues. It think it will pass fairly easily.
Our Senate vote won't be close. We have an independent that is going to come close to beating the R. Cardin didn't even have to campaign and will win 55-25-20.
Our House vote however will be a tight one between Delaney (D) and our incumbent Bartlett (R). Should come down to the wire.
Ben Cardin, Dem (i) 1,237,336 54%
Daniel Bongino, GOP 626,351 27%
Rob Sobhani, Una 389,002 17%

I would have voted for Romney 10xs before Rehberg once. His HR 1505 bill which gave the govt. power to take over any public land w/in 100 miles of the Canadian border was pure horseshit.
