I met Elijah Cummings the other day in our Baltimore office - really nice guy even if his politics are diametrically opposed to mine (but hey, he represents inner city Baltimore so I can understand) - shame about his nephew being gunned down by thugs IN HIS OWN HOUSE ONE BLOCK FROM THE CONVOCATION CENTER. When my son toured ODU we stayed at the SpringHill Suites next to the center - nice hotel, nice little town center setup behind it, but jeez louise you can't go out anywhere in the surrounding neighborhood after dark...

I thought this was a Maine thread. I guess I'll have to fork over the $7.95 to watch the game on the live stream. Youngest son's 4th birthday that day. Maybe one of these years we'll play Maine in September and package a Bar Harbor/Acadia trip with it. Besides, I didn't renew my passport

Sorry - was supposed to be - got derailed.

After the Navy hiccup it's good to see the progression this season's taken - Maine will be a tough road test that will hopefully give us a clear picture of whether daHenz are an 8-9 win team with realistic post-season aspirations or something inadequately less. And yes, it would be nice to do a New England trip in conjunction with the game...

Playing in that dearth atmosphere is always a challenge too. You're coming from 34K at Navy, 18K-20K at Newark, to like 5K-6K maybe in Orono.

I don't think you are smart enough to realize that not one of those shootings was ON CAMPUS. In order to figure that out you'd have to be able to read the words OFF CAMPUS or NEAR CAMPUS clearly stated in the article and you are apparently an illiterate dunce.

And yes, Norfolk has some sketchy spots, what big city doesn't? It also has some very nice spots and there is a HELL of a lot more to do in Norfolk than the craphole that is Delaware. I'd honestly off myself if I lived in that boring ass state.
