Yea, the opening round was the play-in. While NDSU was playing Robert Morris they were glued to the TV sets.

The system I have proposed is United States Liberal in model not communist. Learn-up a little ok Jay?

Equalizing travel costs is a fair way to deal with the changing expense profile when teams are admitted to a conference. The theory is that if all teams travel, over and over and over again, to the same opponents, travel costs will equal out. I think that is correct, but the issue is now further refined to the travel burden in any given year. That change may justify a "cost equalization" strategy?

I think the best way is to exempt half the teams from paying anything. These would be the teams in the bottom half of attendance. The rest of the teams would bear the full load and the payout would be split equally or in favor of the teams that didnt pay at all. Something along the lines of the us tax-code and subsidy system? That must be a fair model. Its run by bone-a-fide United States liberals.

And how did we let their admittance pass with the ridiculous stipulation that SIU, YSU, and ISU only have to make one trip up to the Dakotas? That's just stupid.

We are going to have some horribly unbalanced schedules.
Or NDSU decides to go Big 10.
change places with northwestern? haha

The purpose of a conference is to play each other, if you can't do that the conference is too big.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

How does that solve the AQ bid situation when the two teams don't play eachother?

How about a conference championship?

Maybe just use the Big Sky model? Works for them.

I don't think conference championship games are allowed in the FCS system.
