This. A guy wearing a "Disobey" t-shirt tells me there may be more to this before the start of the video.
Guys, guys, GUYS!

OF COURSE they were trying to provoke an official reaction. They succeeded. Personally, after dealing with abortion clinic turds for 17 years, I would just go get myself on video telling them to stop blocking the sidewalk, then mail them VERY expensive tikkets. It's not like we don't know their addresses. Right, Expandiblevagine?

Expandableclitoris, SK, et al. would have nothing to post otherwise.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Park Police has launched an internal investigation into the arrests of five people who were dancing at the Jefferson Memorial as a form of civil disobedience.

"The inquiry will include looking at use of force, and all the actions of our officers," says Sgt. David Schlosser, spokesperson for the Park Police.

The officers remain on regular duty during the investigation, said Schlosser.

The dancers were protesting a recent court decision that upheld a ban on dancing within the memorial. See the video of the arrests here.

Video accounts of the arrests were posted on YouTube, in some cases by people associated with the protest, which had been promoted beforehand on Facebook.

The videos show protesters being forcefully restrained, and in at least one case driven to the ground.

"The Park Police takes allegations of misuse of force seriously," said Schlosser. The inquiry was requested by Park Police Chief Teresa Chambers.

The five arrested protesters were charged with demonstrating without a permit.

Last week, federal judge John Bates ruled that dancing within the memorial runs afoul of "an atmosphere of calm, tranquility and reverence."

I understand the need to respond to laws/court decisions we think are wrong, but you also have to shake your head at the idea of pretty well to do protestors sacrificing the jobs and well being of several security guards in order to prove their point. Granted, these guys didn't get it done right and deserve some rebuke, but it does stink that some poor slob got exposed on camera just so people who never have to worry about being poor slobs could be all cute and disorderly to prove to us how morally and patriotically superior they are to others. Good for them. :ohno:
