The poor, little, pitiful, toe-in-the-dirt, disrespected Woffy routine has gotten to be..

Furman-this is the year that puts Bobby and the Paladins back in the drivers seat. Gotta feeling the UCLA kid is gonna OWN and the defense will once again be stout. Also think Bobby is tired of the mediocrity and knows the heat is on. Furman wins the conference and in Boone for the 1st time since the late 90s.
App State-ugh.......defense may be shaky, but the O will still be good, especially with Cadet manning the ship.
Wofford-can't keep a good man down and Ayers is a damn good man.
Elon
WCU-yes, we make a push into the top part of the conference this year. we still will not be world beaters but I think the conference will be shocked at what they see coming out of the whee in 2010. Only gonna get better.
GSU
UTC
Samford
El Cid
anywhoo, just one white unemployed man's opinion. GO CATAMOUNTS!!!
Can't be too sure about that at this point.
I have no idea where ASU will find themselves in the standings this year but my Homerism doesn't see them out of the top 3.
I have yet to see anything from Jamal Jackson (RS QB) but from the things I'm hearing, there is reason to be excited. I look forward to our first practices so I can see if Jackson can take the starting role from Cadet. Of course, Cadet was nice at the ECU game but everything I've seen since has been quite fugly.

The ball should be spread out a lot more this year. The running backs are showing a lot of promise too. Jamal Shuman, Brandon Newsome and AJ Harris can provide the running game to make a more balanced offense too.
Didn't Elon lose 3 OL starters and 4 on the two deep?
Depending how quickly ASU's new QB (Jackson IMO) can adjust to the college game they still have as good a chance as any to win it. The defense will be better, I expect some of the offensive and defensive lineman recruits coming in will see early playing time. This is the best lineman class ever for ASU based on the offers these young men have. Other than AE only 1 CB, 1 LB, 1 OL, and 2 DL graduated. Look for Devon Moore to rush for a ton next year.
I will wait until spring to make complete predictions as a lot can happen between now and then. I am a homer, but App State has reloaded for years and this year looks like no exception. I would expect a better more consistant defense next year and an offense loaded at WR and running back. Got to see what emerges at QB before predictions can be made. It appears the SoCon will be better balanced than last year. I like what I saw of Forcier at the end of the Furman game last year and would expect Furple, Wofford and Samford to be much better in 2010. Riddle will make Elon competitive but they graduated a lot of talent. I would expect WCU to be much better and I personally can't predict Citadel and GSU but they might be in for difficult transition years. UTC might be a real force this year and they are strong at QB.
Elon, Furman and Wofford all come to the Rock so I love ASU's chances against those. UTC at Chatty is a scary opener and even in down years GSU is tough at Eagle Creek. If WCU gets off to a good start next season a starved fan base could make the trip to the Whee an adventure.
Hopefully we catch the GAtors looking ahead to FSU.

Yea, I said before in this thread that we lost 7 on defense, including all 4 DBs. We lost 2 OL starters, and 1 more who contributed a lot, but didn't start many games.
