You've obviously never been in Wa-Griz when it's at full roar. As loud as the Swamp? Maybe not, but I'd bet it'll be the most noise SFA has had to deal with this year.
Another rookie No I have never been to Wa-Griz, but I have played against Maryland at a night game, at Central Florida, and at Delaware (which I know is no Wa-Griz, but they really HATE villanova so it gets loud). We managed, other teams manage in much louder environments, and we have a no huddle installed as well. I'm sure the noise with fluster them for all of 4 plays in the opening drive and after that it'll just be loud while they signal.
The reason the swamp doesn't matter whether it's silent snap or not is because the noise is so great it vibrates your eyes so you can't see*. Does wa-griz do that? Didn't think so.
*that is in no way fact

Mark my words, 82. If they have been doing that all year they will be UNABLE to communicate on Saturday. Unless they've got some hand signal system set up, they are fucked.
Not you too, Z. Not you too!!!!!! I expect a rookie to make this mistake, but I never thought you'd fall sucker to one of my ruses
Villanova actually put in a silent snap for the game against WVU..... I'm sure that isn't an uncommon practice when going into a "harsh" environment.

My eyes vibrated at Wa-Griz once, but it may have been more to do with the peppermint schnapps than the noise .

Peppermint will do ya in. I would switch to peach for less vibration. Hell that could also be the reason you think Wa-Griz is loud too.

Shall we set up decibel meters in Wa-Griz and Nova's stadium this weekend and compare results?
Exhibit A: The Griz deflection. Natural defense of the unitelligent Griz fan (note this is not to say griz fans are unintelligent, but that the unitelligent ones do this). They will naturally, as if with out control, point out the inadequacy of the person telling them they are wrong, even if it doesn't prove their point in the least.
EX: Wa-Griz stadium is not loud enough to deter a no huddle offense.
OH YEAH! Well lets see how loud YOUR stadium is!!
Another good point, thank you

The pissing match is ON .
Here's where we stand:
Me: Wa-Griz is loud.
You: Not loud enough to disrupt SFA's offense.
Has SFA been working with hand signals all year? If they have, then they'll probably be fine. If not, there may be trouble. I guess we'll find out on Saturday.
By the way, the genius who provided the quote about "unitelligent" Griz fans seems pretty damn "unitelligent" himself .
