Ursus, in no way do I intend to slam this board, which has made excellent strides and is becoming more diverse. My point was that CS folks should keep moving in the right direction and ignore the "speed bumps" that hit AGS from time to time. Otherwise, CS posters who persist in trashing AGS may come off as a bunch of whiners. In a way, I agree with AZGF's other thread: no more AGS threads!

If that's the case they should have done a market study firstUNHWildCats wrote:I think AGS is implementing a pay to use deal with the poli wing. It was previously discussed and with a new fundraising drive recently started it makes sense timing wise.
agsadmin said that he is waiting for a statement to be released by the owner of AGS regarding the disappearance of the poli lounge... this suggests its a detailed statement which would suggest something more then just "its closed"
ain't happening and that ain't the reason.

Man, throw me under the bus for no reason, eh? I don't think I've ever really had a thought comparing AGS and CS anytime in my life - whoops - just had one when I wrote that. Weird. Besides, we all know there's only one truly great board out there anyway, well two maybe - http://www.gohens.net and whichever board of the team who's playing those purple whelchers from Furman that week. I have to sit in Delaware Stadium and watch the scrimmage against the Hornets this weekend rather than get to watch Devlin roll all over the Paladins. Darn being Furmaned.AZGrizFan wrote:Why? But watch the schadenfreude, boys: AGS is still light years ahead of this board in terms of football chat and participation.![]()

Be careful - posting links to other sites is against the CS.com go-f-yourself policy. Don't fall into that trap.GannonFan wrote:Man, throw me under the bus for no reason, eh? The best way to tell that UD has a bad QB is to wait and see if we're playing Furman that year - if the Purple Paladins come arunning, our QB stinks. The converse of that theory is also true, if we have a great QB *cough* Pat Devlin *cough* then Furman can't run fast enough to play anyone other than UD. I firmly expect Furman to go 3-0 against UD, whenever UD pulls out another all-time worse QB. Thankfully, that will be years in the future.OL FU wrote:WE would have been 3-0 against you chickensGannonFan wrote:

Honestly, if you are not opposed to logging into AGS, you should view the Waiting Patiently thread under General AGS comments
before it disappears.

How much does it cost to run a site? AGS seems really really high. I will NEVER donate there again after how poorly they treat posters and the sponsored months.
