Having said that, due to a lack of a language or frame of reference outside of these labels I will attempt to use them to describe myself. I am not a conservative or liberal in the way most people would describe them.
To boil it down the the basic litmust test issues from both sides, this is where I stand.
I think abortion is a non-issue. It really doesn't matter to me one bit. Well, except for those people I'd like to have a post-partum abortion performed upon.
I have serious concerns about the long-term health of our planet. I seriously doubt we will be able to colonize other planets in any substantial way anytime soon, so we are stuck here. If we don't do some serious soul searching and find a way to slow down the damage we are inflicting upon it, we will eventually fuck it up beyond what even we can survive.
I love smoking pot.
War is seldom the best answer, and almost never gets the results either party involved would have wanted or expected.
