It's a double standard. The fact that he isn't white is known to those that aren't ignorant or racially charged buffoons.
He's not black...so he's white.

Threatening to kill someone via twitter....what is the law with that?

Martin was being followed, not Chaz Bono Zimmerman; Martin had every right to think that he was acting in self defense. This is what happens when you let a pussy pack heat, he bites off more than he can chew. Absent a gun Zimmeran gets his ass kicked in a run-pof-the-mill street fight and takes his humiliated ass home to recover and end of story.

Following someone is not a crime. You really need to pull your union bad-azz together...you are looking like a sniveling, mindless, reactionary more and more each day.

If you follow somebody that close you're going to scare them. Zimmerman followed him close enough for the kid to call somebody about it and to decide that it was fight-or-flight time, which is exactly what Zimmerman wanted. If you had been in Martin's position, without your boyfriend to protect you, you would have pissed down your leg and hit operatic high notes crying for help. :ohno:

I hate to be mean to somebody as sensitive as you so lets make a deal: I'll try to be nicer if you'll try to be smarter, Huck. :kisswink:

You can't keep up at this pace; it would be silly to go even further over your head.

Let's repeat...following someone is not a crime that allows someone to attack you. You must demonstrate that you felt you were facing imminent danger in order to take action.

Big, bad Trayvon, if he felt threatened, should have been smart enough to call the police (as did Z-man).

Instead, Trayvon called his friend, the slow-witted Jabba the Hut, for help...surely knowing she could not have quickly formulated a coherent response to Trayvon's "predicament" other than calling someone a "cracker."

Of course, maybe Trayvon was as slow-witted and angry about life as you. He chose to be a macho dope and tried to handle it himself. Good riddance.

Martin was being followed because he was breaking the law. He was observed trespassing, standing on lawns and looking in windows. Zimmerman was sick of the riff raff and called the cops. Then he trailed the criminal and the criminal didn't like it. I applaud Zimmerman for not letting the inmate run the asylum. The lowering of standards and the not leaving behind of people who can't keep up mentality of this country will be its ruin unless those who are sick of it start to fight back. I look forward to this fight.

I'll type slow for you - you don't know who attacked who, only that after it started Zimmerman, like you, wasn't man enough for the situation. Given Zimmerman's history and his frustration he probably instigated the confrontation knowing he couldn't lose.
