Then why didn't you say WS banner? You said NL banner. If my team wins the WS, I don't care about the NL banner. Congrats on being number 2! :thumb:

I'm not counting my chickens before they're hatched, unlike Philthy phans. You clowns have done nothing but talk about how you'll match up against the Yankees in the WS. Yankees gone. Philthies gone.

Oh, we know, you're going to wait until everything is decided and then you're going to talk. I mean, that's what pussies do so we figured that was your MO all along. I mean, you are a Citadel guy.

Yeah, I get it. Couldn't get in to West Point or VMI. Finishing second at something must look prety good to him.

Yeah, we stuck out necks out and discussed our hopes for the Phils. You played it safe and hid under a rock. If that's what they teach you at the Citadel it must be a really lame school school.

Didn't apply to VMI. Was nominated to WP but withdrew my application when I decided to go to The Citadel. Nice try though.

It's the same mound on which Steve Carlton began his major league career.

And now Steve Carlton rants about Seven Jewish Bankers and barks at the moon. Bunch of hacks.

Thanks for responding. Tellls me I struck a nerve. Nice job recognizing that you wouldn't have been able to cut it at West Point. It takes a big man to recognize that he's not up to a challenge.

Posting only after wins doesn't say much for his character, but it does explain why he wasn't West Point material.

True - to be a true JaBBer he'd have to be on after every loss blaming everything but his own squad for losing...

Yeah, I suppose I'd have gone to Delaware if I had wanted a real challenge.

Agreed (assuming that you'd be accepted). We don't hide under rocks until the coast is clear at UD.

Yeah, right. Turned down The Point for the citadel. And I know an underemployed Ball State grad who claims to have Yale and Harvard acceptance letters in his desk drawer.

Season was a failure, no argument possible.

2012 - will be a little different look: Gone are Oswalt, Ibanez & Lidge. May be back, may be gone are Madson & Rollins.

They are right though. A 4-0 lead should hold up. Not blaming Lee entirely, the Phils didn't have to stop scoring after the 2nd inning.

Game 2 was an off night for Lee, but I can't really fault the starting pitching, they did their job. It was the spotty offense that doomed the Phils.
